HarborWare® was born from the love of water and the outdoors, situated in the Ozark Mountains near the finest destinations around northwest Arkansas: Beaver Lake, Table Rock Lake and the Buffalo National River.
Our history dates back all the way to 1948 as a manufacturer's rep firm. In the following years we began purchasing equipment to meet the needs of our clients, manufacturing various types of building materials.
In the early 1960's we began manufacturing boat docks for local builders and do-it-yourself-er's under the name Insul-Bead. Word quickly spread to adjacent states and before we knew it we were running trucks all over the country.
When "the internet" happened in the 1990's we started getting orders from as far as Japan and Australia, by then we were becoming an industry leader for dock building materials.
In the 2000's we started to stock products from other companies and launched the HarborWare brand and online store in 2012. Our modest beginnings has now grown to 5 factory plants and warehouses spanning 40 acres as well as 15 partner distribution centers strategically located around the country.
